(Past) Grand Knight Michael Lacombe presented the check for $10,000 to Monsignor Swenson
Background: Our council considers the Chapel of the Holy
innocents our statement against abortion. Backing our convictions with a
visible presence, this council voted at the general meeting, 1-7-02, to
contribute$10,000 over a period of 5 years to renovate the old Baptistry
into a chapel separate from the main church. This chapel would serve as the
place for daily Mass and perpetual adoration, also. Knights in this
council were suggested to give $40.00 per year for 5 years that makes $200.00
per knight.
